“Robot Ball”
Project Overview: The aim of this project was to design and develop a 3D model of a Robot Ball, a futuristic, spherical robot that could be used in various simulations or animations. The goal was to push the boundaries of my personal 3D modeling skills, experiment with dynamic movements, and explore potential uses for the model in gaming, animation, and virtual environments.
Project Outcome and Reflection:
The Robot Ball 3D modeling project significantly enhanced my 3D modeling, rigging, and texturing skills. It gave me valuable experience in dealing with:
- Complex Geometry: Working within the constraints of a spherical shape.
- Rigging Challenges: Learning how to manage and animate moving parts realistically.
- High-Quality Rendering: Gaining insight into lighting, texturing, and rendering for polished, professional results.
